Replaced Passenger Side Axle and Installed SP Performance Brake Rotors
On 4/6/2007, I replaced my passenger side axle because it was leaking some grease from the CV boot. Since I'm lowered about an inch, this is common with the stock axles. The boot tends to get stretched a little more and grease will start to seep out. The install was pretty straight forward: remove wheel, remove brake caliper, caliper bracket, rotor, axle nut. Then you just find a way to get a crow-bar in behind the CV joint and pop it out of the differential. Putting the new one in was just as easy as removing the old. It was a simple easy fix.
I also took the time to change out my plain solid rotors with some SP Performance Brake Rotors that are drilled and slotted. I have pictures of them in my 15-hour detail job thread.
