2006 Beaver Springs Supercharged Meet
On 5/6/2006, I went to Beaver Springs Supercharged Meet near Lewistown, PA. I ran the 1/4 mile there three times.....twice with the 3.0 pulley, and once with the 3.2. Here are the times:
Funny thing was that I was 2nd fastest of the 20+ cars there. The track wasn't prepped for FWD cars, so everyone was spinning on their launches and the track is just slower than Cecil, usually by 2-3 tenths. However, that day we had a 15-20mph headwind that was making other GTPs and Regals between 3-5 tenths off. One person I talked to ran a 13.9 at Cecil the week before and the week after running 14.4's and 14.5's at Beaver Springs. So if we do the math, if I were at Cecil and I got a 2.0 60-foot, I would have had very low 13's.
No big deal to me though, I mostly went to meet a bunch of great people and it was nice to meet Ed Morad in person.
