Installed 42.5-pound Fuel Injectors
On 4/23/2005, I installed a set of Lucas 42.5-pound fuel injectors. The install was pretty easy, it's the tuning of the car afterwards that takes the time. I have a local friend with a DHP PowerTuner that I used to change my injector flow rate to compensate for the larger injectors.....otherwise, I would have been running very, very rich which would foul my plugs and cause a rough idle. Anyway, here is a picture of the stock 36-pound injectors.
New injectors are on the fuel rail. The blue caps come off, I was just keeping them on to help keep the injectors clean until I was ready to reinstall the fuel rail.
