Lower VTGTP Grills Installed
On 5/2/2004, I finally installed the lower set of VTGTP grills. It was over 7 months before that I installed the top set. The 97 through 99 Grand Prix's were a lot easier to install these grills in the lower fascia, but in 2000 they made the lower fascia a lot more rigid. So I tried once or twice before, but I couldn't get them to stay in right with the U-clips. So after a little research on what other 2000 Grand Prix owners did, I found that I needed to drill small holes into the lower piece of the fascia to get the zip ties in. So I took my time and got them in straight and I'm happy that they are finally in. Here is a picture.
